So what have I been up to? Well I've been very busy and getting a lot done too. Check out my official website: Bill Gillane or http://www.BillGillane.com

Salt Lake City Film Festival: 08-2009
I was in a David Christensen film called “True Love” that played in the “Shorts Program” this last Friday. It is a fun, sick and twisted little story. Great job Dave!

Slippery Kittens: 08-21-2009
New show this Friday night 08-21-09 at Bar Deluxe 666 S State Street. The Kittens have been off all summer and are back to put on a great show and entertain you. I’ll be your emcee for the evening once again. Come play!

The Last Eagle Scout: 08-2009
I got a call from Holly telling me that the guy playing the role of Mr. H was not going to be able to make it and that she had shown my photo to the director and was wondering if I’d be interested in coming out to play. Dua! So a few minutes later I got a call and was booked for the role. We filmed my part a few weekends ago in Orem and again Monday afternoon at “Maple Dell” scout camp down in Payson Canyon. I am “wrapped” on this one. Good Fun! Thanks again Holly!

Violet Kiss: 08-2009
Filmed Tuesday 08-18-09. I play a barber giving a guy a shave. I get knocked out and the guy I’m working on gets shot by the hit man. Short & sweet

Elysium: 08-2009
Filming the first of my scenes 08-27-09, I am the father and an author who had left his wife when our child was quite young. I come in at the end of the film and have a scene with my son.

Aces over Eights: 08-2009
I was on set three days this last week. I play the homeowner of a beautiful home that is for sale. I allow the home inspector in to do the inspection and eventually find that he has already been in my home while I was away on business for a romp with his lover. Dark things happen and those things are the reason for the story.

Salt Aire Films “Best of the Best” Film Festival: 09-25-2009
Coming up 09-25-09, I am part of the committee helping to bring this festival to life. This is the third year and this year it is being held at the Salt Lake City Main Library downtown! The festival will feature films that are the best of the best which means that we will only show films that have won awards at other festivals and are family friendly films.

Huntsville: 09-22-2009
A new web series called 'HUNTSVILLE'premieres September 22nd, 2009 with new episodes every Monday. We have been filming this over the last several months. In the series I play the 'US Marshall' and I am also the 'Voice' on the radio. Check out the website, lots more information there, info on the cast & crew too. This has been great fun with some really great people.

Raising Kayn: 09-04-2009
A new web series that premiers in September 4th, 2009

This is a new web series where I am the 'voice' in the trailer. "Raising Kayn” looks like so much fun and this is just the beginning of really great things to come. The creators of this have so much more planned, stay tuned.

Just so you know, 'Web Series' is the wave of the future in entertainment. & you can quote me on that.
